We made a reservation for El Jardu00edn de la 10 but we were sent to another hostel that is the u201csameu201d. It was called El Jardin de Provenza. We assume itu2019s new and is owned by the same person. We didnu2019t really get an explanation of why they were moving us. It was only a few blocks away and they offered to pay our taxi. But instead of the chic private room we were expecting, we were given our own standard dorm room. This place was fine but didnu2019t have the garden or quietness we were hoping for.
One stage rude. Not inviting for being social. Kitchen facilities could need an upgrade.
Charge 5% when paying with card. This never mentioned in the terms and conditions anywhere - nor in the app nor at site.
Found a much better and more cosy hostel at Amazonia hostel.
Pretty hostel but also pretty far from the metro. Nice and helpful staff at the reception.
The breakfast was served but so small that it wasn't really worth staying for it.
Sadly the staff talked so loud at 7 am that everyone in our room woke up.
Very clean. Hot strong showers. Great location. Very new feel about the place. Not a party hostel maybe a bit harder for solo travelers to meet others.
